The LocPlate™ product line is a free-floating modular floor that can be installed over any sub floor, without any attachment to that sub floor, and support the installation of all surface coverings that have a compatible loop underside.
LocPlate™ products are composed of a series of interlocking hook plates and discs. The hook plates and discs are made from injection-moulded polypropylene, an inert resin, and are covered with thousands of industrial-strength hooks. The hooks are designed to provide high shear and tensile strengths to ensure that the surface remains in place while the hook and loop engagement is fully releasable due to minimal peel strength.
For underfoot comfort or an anti-fatigue solution, a cross linked, closed‐cell polyethylene cushion can be ultra-sonically welded to the underside of the LocPlate™ products
The Environment: This free-floating environmentally responsible hook substrate eliminates the need for adhesives and other installation materials. Made from polypropylene, the LocPlate™ products are inherently hygienic as they will not absorb moisture so they will not promote the growth of mould, mildew, bacteria or fungus. Requiring no adhesives and good for hundreds of closures, hook and loop mechanical fastening is both functional and environmentally sensitive. The LocPlate™ products can be moved, reused and recycled. The LocPlate™ products are warranted for 25 years and then they can be recycled into "new" LocPlate™ products as they are truly cradle to cradle.
